Do guests or residents need to install an app?
No. Everything runs in the phone's browser. Guests scan the lobby QR code or type the building's Location ID; residents and staff sign in at app.parkcommand.ca.
What happens if the resident doesn't answer?
Each building sets how long a request waits. If the resident doesn't respond, the front desk can approve or decline on their behalf (buildings can turn this off), or the request times out automatically.
Can we limit how often units invite guests?
Yes. Set visitor passes per unit per month for the building, override it for specific units, cap stays, block overnight parking or blackout dates, and limit specific passes (for example two overnight passes a month).
We manage many buildings, and some have several towers. Does that work?
Yes. One company account holds all your properties, with dashboards per building or across the portfolio. Unit numbers can repeat across towers (A-101 and B-101), and staff can be limited to the sites they work at.
How does patrol work in underground garages with no signal?
Patrol routes keep working offline and sync checks when the phone reconnects, so nothing is lost or duplicated.
Is our data kept separate from other companies?
Yes. Isolation is enforced in the application and again by the database with row-level security. Sign-ins support two-factor authentication, and every action is recorded in an audit log.
Can we bring our existing resident list?
Yes. Import units, residents, vehicles and parking spots from Excel or CSV with a preview that catches errors before anything is saved, and export everything the same way.
Do you support single sign-on, plate cameras and online payments?
Yes. Single sign-on (Microsoft Entra ID, Google and SAML), camera plate recognition and gate integrations are part of the Enterprise plan. Online payments for paid parking and text message notifications are add-ons available on every plan, priced on request.
